As a people who have experienced the love and grace of God and who desire to follow Jesus, we seek to be an open, caring community of faith. Home Street Mennonite welcomes people of any race, age, ability, income, family status, gender identity, and sexual orientation. We commit to growing together into a safe, inclusive, and diverse congregation.
We acknowledge that we gather and worship on the ancestral lands of First Nations and Metis Peoples. We respect the treaties that were made on these territories. We acknowledge the harms committed in the past and those that continue today. We dedicate ourselves to being Treaty People and moving forward in right relationship.

Focus Statement: The 2021 Camps with Meaning curriculum theme, “We Can Be Heroes” works to display the ways in which faith-in-action is heroism. Dismantling cultural narratives of individual exceptionalism, “We Can Be Heroes” reframes the “hero” to be anyone who bears witness to God’s love and empowers people to be heroes for others just as they are while wrapping them in the community of faith heroes of which they are a part.
Scripture: Hebrews 12 1-2a
“Therefore since we have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every weight and the sin which so easily entangles and trips us up, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking only to Jesus the leader and perfector of the faith.”
