As a people who have experienced the love and grace of God and who desire to follow Jesus, we seek to be an open, caring community of faith. Home Street Mennonite welcomes people of any race, age, ability, income, family status, gender identity, and sexual orientation. We commit to growing together into a safe, inclusive, and diverse congregation.
We acknowledge that we gather and worship on the ancestral lands of First Nations and Metis people. We respect the treaties that were made on these territories. We acknowledge the harms committed in the past and those that continue today. We dedicate ourselves to being Treaty People and moving forward in right relationship.

First Sunday of Lent
Deep in the sea: Called to deep relationship
The voice of God pierces the deep, calling us to deep relationship.
With the floodwaters behind us and the waters of baptism
holding us, our bond with God establishes our identity--
with other people and with the world we live in.
Scripture Reading: : Genesis 9:8-17; Mark 1:9-15
In the context of the very real emergency our city is experiencing with COVID-19, we want to do our part to keep one another safe. Therefore, we are not physically gathering at this time. Please contact the church for information on how to access our livestreamed services.
